In short ... I really don't know. I've never tried it. But feel free to have a go and let me know if you think it works. I'm guessing the recipe alls for milk and that as a dairy free alternative, soya milk is good - so I've never tried water.

I thoroughly recommend the mooncup. I have used one for about 10 years. I'm not really one to overly worry about landfill issues but just on a practical & financial level it works better for me.
The cup can be left in longer than tampons. I don't have to go out with a handbag full of spares. No decision of do I need a regular or a super today.
Traditional sanitary products never quite made it through the night for me. Pads seemed to move or get leakage going backwards & missing the pad altogether. Hot nights pads are hot & sweaty. Tampons don't hold an entire nights flow but mooncup is secure & does the job.

The only thing that is a little in convienient is the public toilet thing. Ive never quite mastered the bottle of water rinse without getting in a mess. Though possibly because I chose to completely remove my mooncups stem. Though as the cup lasts longer than a tampon it isn't often I need to empty while out & about.

Ive never had any issues with leakage. There's definitely a knack to positioning which I learned fast.

On a completely separate note .... I was talking to someone about kick boxing today and couldn't remember the name of someone I knew who was 'very' good at it. You have the same name as his wife, so I've just had an "ahhh, now I remember" moment lol.

I sometimes have to do that myself. Once you have the basics for a great recipe, you'll learn how to adapt it (and correct it when it's needed). It could be something as simple as the temperature of the room or the humidity.
Glad you liked it - try lemon or vanilla! Or if you look in HoniesKitchen there are some other great cake toppings.

That's great! Glad you tried it. I know it sounds obvious but I think that the more you practice, the better you get. Having handy tips 'does' help :o
