Gorgeous! I wonder where that path leads to? Did she find out?

    • She did! This is literally minutes from my house. There is a church at the end of the path this direction of the field takes you (it has a crossroads behind us – but this field was only just over a quarter of our journey – we did about 3 miles!

    • We were already some way down it – this is just after a crossroads in the field. It’s a bit like being in a film when you reach them. You can almost imagine some old guy sitting there waiting to ask which way you choose to go.

  2. I am now humming the long and winding road! Mich x

  3. Mrs Turk says:

  4. mum2babyinsomniac says:

Wow! I bet those field felt even bigger from such a litle persons viewpoint! Amazing!

  5. Sarah Lee says:

I adore this – reminds me of my childhood, growing up in Hampshire. I always loved walking the country fields and occasionally being surprised by deer jumping over the corn.

    • I used to live at the other side of my village and in the valley and didn’t see much of this part. Since living here, I’ve re-discovered how beautiful the area is.
I’m lucky to live near to Yarrow Valley Country Park (Birkacre) and also Coppul Moor

  6. sarahmumof3 says:

beautiful, I love walking through the countryside with my three 🙂

  7. Oh…. wonder where they are going x

    • As far as the eye can see and then left for a mile and then back towards the way we came for another mile. Walked about 3 miles (possibly more) yesterday – HonieDaddy, O’Pops, K’Boo and me (well technically O’Pops was pushed – in a wheelchair)

  8. Beautiful, beautiful shot. For me could be the beginning or end of a novel. Just wonderful. HMSx
